NORTHBROOK, Ill. (May 12, 2022) – Northbrook-based commercial real estate company Pine Tree, LLC today announced that Shelley Xu, CFA, CPA was promoted to VP, Portfolio Management. This latest promotion will further support the company’s growing portfolio of open-air shopping centers across the country.
A Senior Portfolio Manager with Pine Tree since June 2020, Shelley will now handle strategic oversight of one of Pine Tree’s retail real estate funds. She will be based at the company’s Oak Brook, Illinois office.

A University of Illinois alumna, Shelley is also currently pursuing her MBA at the Wharton School.
